Announcement of Application Results
The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that the selection process for the SEAMS School 2026 on Analysis and Probability has been completed. Selected participants will be notified via email by 15 June 2026. Applicants are kindly requested to check their inboxes, including their spam or junk folders, for the notification message. We appreciate the time and effort devoted to each application and thank all applicants for their patience throughout the review process.

Program Objectives
The SEAMS School will focus on the interplay between mathematical analysis and stochastic (probability theory, stochastic processes, stochastic calculus). The courses provided a mathematically rigorous introduction to stochastic using mathematical analysis tools such as measure theory and functional analysis. The objectives of the school are:
- To establish cooperation and collaboration between participants and institutions in Southeast Asian countries.
- To popularize the subject of stochastic which is an extremely useful branch of mathematics with a huge range of applications.
- To give experiences to participants (students from Southeast Asian countries) for learning special topics in mathematics from experts in the field.
- To prepare participants to attend bigger events (e.g. CIMPA schools) on the related topics and also to give necessary background for those who would like to pursue higher education (PhD) in the area of stochastic and related fields.
- To exchange knowledge, experience and culture between participants.
After attending the school, we expect that the participants will have adequate knowledge and solid background to initiate research in stochastic.
Date and Place
The school will take place Wednesday-Thursday, 5-13 August 2026 in Yogyakarta.
(3 days in Universitas Gadjah Mada and 4 days in Sanata Dharma University)
Participants
The SEAMS School is open to postgraduate students and young researchers in mathematics or related fields.
Accommodation
Participants with funding from CIMPA or EMS will be lodged in a hotel/guest house near the venue of the school. For other participants, there is a list of hotels in Yogyakarta which can be found on the school website. Some alternatives for hotels/guest houses: University Club Hotel, MM UGM Hotel, Swiss-Belboutique Yogyakarta, Manohara Hotel, Loman Park Hotel, Grand Tjokro Hotel, Tembok Batu Residence. The organizer will also assist in finding accommodation, upon request from the participants.
